Promotion of the Youngest Officers of Serbia
The youngest officers of the Serbian Armed Forces have been officially promoted in front of the National Assembly in Belgrade, before the key figures of the government. The promotion was attended by the president of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić, highest ranks of the Army, numerous guests from the country and abroad, as well as friends and family of the officers and civilians. 187 cadets of the Military Academy and Medical Military Academy (VMA) were promoted into their first ranks. The parade moved down the main streets of the city, accompanied by the Exemplary Orchestra of the Guard of Honour „Stanislav Binički“ and folklore of the „Ivo Lola Ribar“, while the throwing of the caps and singing of the national anthem of Serbia marked the closing of the ceremony.
