The traditional manifestation “Belgrade Boat Carnival” was opened on Saturday at the promenade along the Sava River in Belgrade, between Branko’s and Gazela Bridge.
The program began with the performance of the Children’s Cultural Centre of Belgrade, and then everyone was entertained by the band “Neverne bebe”, a dance group, a string quartet Pandora and violinist Katarina Djokic.
During the evening, more than 80 decorated boats and yachts from 20 Belgrade marinas, as well as athletes from sailing, rowing and nautical clubs paraded along the river.
The organizer of this exciting event, which is traditionally held on the last Saturday in August, is the Tourist Organization of Belgrade.
