The drawing of lots in the Chilean city of Santiago, it was decided that Kazakhstan will be a rival team of Serbia in the first round of the Davis Cup World Group 2016.
Serbia, which this is the ninth consecutive participation in the World Group, hosted the tennis players of Kazakhstan from 4 to 6 March 2016.
In accordance with the rules of the Davis Cup, the first and second holder of the countries of this year’s finalists, namely the United Kingdom and Belgium.
