Huge ceremony “orlića” in front of the National Assembly
Great ceremony of Serbian national football team for players under 20 years old, who became world champion at the World Championship in New Zealand, was held last night in front of the Assembly of the city. More than 50,000 people cheered the champions of the world, and the way Serbia loves football so much, has proved to this spectacular night.
Open bus has left Stara Pazova, the House of Football at about 18.30, and the highway are „orlići“ and continued on th highway till „Kombank arena“ just to pass Boulevard of Zoran Đinđić, the street Milentija Popović, and Branko’s bridge came to the Assembly of the city.
Selector of this team Veljko Paunović was faced with a hige ovations , banners and all others celebrations motives for this occasion.
He asked all to hug each other and all together sing out national song ” Oče naš” and remineded that no strong rivals that his team wouldnt handle with. In the spirit of the great athletes asked for respect and gratitude for the opponents of his team in New Zealand.
On the balcony is, a group of THC, who performed the anthem: ” Igraj i pobedi”, and immediately afterwards, Andrija Živković sang was “Oj Kosovo” with teammates and tens of thousands of fans.
This night was completed by releasing music from loudspeakers, followed by the players throwing balls from the terrace in gratitude to the fans.
