MAC: a glamorous music spectacle which has united the region
Before MAC and after MAC: will that be the way to measure the time on the regional music scene from now on?
Music Awards Ceremony (MAC), the unique project spectacularly organized and produced by Skymusic, has managed to unite the music scenes of Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia and Montenegro during just one evening. Even more than that: MAC has managed to unite different music genres, and gather the greatest pop, rock, hip-hop, folk, ethno, classical music superstars at the same stage within one evening.
Event presenters Aida Jokanovic, Ida Prester and Zvonimir Đukić – Đule were a pleasant surprise for the audience. What significantly marked the entire evening were the messages they had been delivering during the show – messages of peace, love, against racism and violence etc.
Bajaga, Masimo Savić, Jelena Rozga, Emina Jahović, Željko Joksimović, Viva Vox, Lollobrigida, Plavi orkestar, Rasta, Aca Lukas, Petar Grašo, Viva Vox, Van Gog, Stjepan Hauser, Marija Šerifović, Nataša Bekvalac, Toni Cetinski, Letu štuke, Sergej Ćetković, Karolina Gočeva and Jelena Karleuša held the performances which will be remembered for a long time.
Stage effects at the most prestigious level, light design, lasers, video production, costumes, choreographies – performances a la world’s biggest superstars: 15.000 Arena visitors had experienced the spectacle, along with more than 5 million TV viewers, since the event was broadcast live at the biggest TV stations with national coverage in the region.
The Music Awards Ceremony was the first ever manifestation in the region to merge a music event on the stage and live TV broadcast, which was a unique project of the organizer and its media partners Prva TV in Serbia and Montenegro, RTRS and FTV in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as RTL TV in Croatia. 50 cameras were used for the purpose of live broadcast as well as 3 HD OB Vans.
More than 200 celebrities from all countries in the region walked the MAC carpet wearing glamorous outfits, while more than 25 awards were given to the best performers during the manifestation.

Skymusic and Cebef gave up the funds from SMS votes and the tickets, thus the money had been redirected to UNICEF, the leading children’s organization, which will distribute the funds in the countries which took part in the ceremony.
