Combination of afrobeat and philharmonic sounds at the Kalemegdan fortress
The most popular African musician Femi Kuti with his band The Positive Force have made a spectacular concert at Kalemegdan. They were accompanied with Macedonian Philharmony , and Kuti’s songs were adjusted to symphonic orchestra. More than 15000 visitors of all generations were dancing to the sounds of exotic rhythms.
Since African musicians were using numerous unusual and rare instruments, rider was very demanding, but Skymusic as usual had the right answer to every challenge. More than 50 musicians were performing at the 20x15m stage, while over 100 DTS and SGM lightning fixtures were used for the stage design, along with 270 LED panels. The sound was provided by EAW Anya audio system, which is unsurpassed in nowadays production standards.
