Festival 84 among the world’s largest winter festivals
Festival 84, new member of EXIT family!
Already the first year it became one of the biggest winter festival in the world, with a total visit of over 20,000 people. At the same place where the 1984 Olympic Winter Games where held, the flame burned again, only this time – the festival flame. The legendary Yugoslav skier Bojan Križaj ignited the flame of the original Olympic torch. Such opening ceremony sent a peace message throughout the region.
Audiences from all over the region, from the 15th to the 18th of March were carried out with numerous world and regional music stars on marathon parties that lasted almost continuously, for five music stages around the Olympic Center Jahorina. With a farewell party was officially completed the first Festival 84, and with this result, next year will compete for the prestigious European festival awards.
