46 FEST – Art and Glamour
On 23 February FEST, the traditional spring Belgrade festival of film art, was opened. During the 10 days of the festival over 120 movies were screened, divided into various categories, so as to satisfy most diverse tastes of the film lovers – from Hollywood blockbusters, to European productions, to horror and SF fantasies of gore. After the completion of the festival program, the juries announced the award winners, while the opening of the festival was marked by the presence of the great István Szabó, the famous Hungarian director, awarded the prestigious “Belgrade Victor” on this very occasion.
Skymusic provided the technical production this year as well and, as a token of its appreciation and strong commitment to one of the most beloved festivals in Belgrade, in front of the packed Sava Centre hall, gave the Belgraders a special gift – a unique dance performance by some of the best dancers in Europe with the festival theme, “Come Closer”, thus formally opening the 46. FEST.
