EXIT – the Music Epicentre of Europe – Day Zero
Performance of the rock giant, „The Killers“ at the Main Stage last night opened this year’s EXIT! Thousands of visitors flocked at Novi Sad one day before the opening where they enjoyed the hologram projections at the Dunavski Park, announcing the spectacular days of the festival. The alternative rock band from Rijeka, „Jonathan“, and our rock legends, „Van Gogh“, supported their colleagues onstage. Members of „The Killers“ „charged their batteries“ before the concert by going for a bit of sightseeing in Belgrade and Novi Sad, and this energy exploded on the Main Stage – after the first number, their new hit The Man, which opened the concert with a lot of verve and confetti, they played Somebody Told Me, only to continue with the greatest hits: Mr. Brightside, Spaceman, All These Things That I’ve Done, Smile Like You Mean It… A premiere took place at the EXIT this year as the Guarana No Sleep Festival was opened for the first time, where Jeff Mills, Ellen Allien, Paula Temple & Rebekah, Jane Fitz, Tolouse Low Trax and many others continually challenged the audience to dance and spread good humour.
