Philharmonic magic on open

Magic is the only word that can describe the atmosphere that the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra, produced by Skymusic, prepared for 20.000 people who enjoyed in absolute silence in spectacular finishing of another season.

The long-awaited open-air concert in Belgrade began with the performance of the “Karmen” opera overture Georges Bizet.

The new chief conductor of Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra, Gabriel Felc wished a good evening to the public and said „ We are the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra and tonight we play for you, enjoy it!“

Only those who were at the concert can describe how Stevan Hristić’s masterpiece „The Legend of Ohrid“ sounds in the open air, as well as Stanislav Binički’s „March on the Drina“, with support of the most prestigious EAW Anya sound sistem.

Maestro Zubin Mehta, who leaded The Belgrade philharmonic through the finale of Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony received ovations from the belgrade audience.
