42 Belgrade Fashion Week
42 Belgrade Fashion Week was held from 28 October to 3 November, organised at various locations in Belgrade. Fashion Week presented collections of the acclaimed authors and young designers, socially engaged projects, exhibitions, as well as prize contests, with numerous distinguished guests from abroad. The best young designer of 1997, Aleksandar Protić, opened the BFW with a show that also marked 20 years of his creative work.
42 Belgrade Fashion Week emphasized this year’s educational project „Stronger than Fear“, created as an answer to the general poor awareness of the malignant illnesses in Serbia, dedicated to the fight against the carcinoma.
The organisers have also presented the Fashion Award, regional contest for the young designers, students, graduates and post-graduates of the fashion design, eager to conquer the fashion world.
